CTK Adult Formation offers two opportunities to learn about and discuss the Protestant reformation, its causes and consequences and its implications for the Church today. Sunday mornings from 9:45 - 10:45 in the West Wing of the Parish Center, hear from local historians, theologians and parishioners on aspects of the Reformations. Wednesday evenings, October 4 - November 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the Celebration Room of the School, view a film featuring key personalities in the Reformation.

The film Silence, by Martin Scorsese, will be shown on Saturday, August 12, from 6-9:00 p.m. in the Celebration Room of the school. Refreshments will be served starting at 5:30 p.m. The film showing concludes the lecture series by Victor Judge about the novel, Silence, by renowned Japanese Catholic author,Shusaku Endo. To mark the canonization of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta ad film "Mother Teresa: In the Name of God's Poor" will be shown on September 4, 2016 in the West Wing from 9:45 - 11:15 a.m.

To commemorate the four-hundredth anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, the Adult Formation Class at Christ the King will study The Tragedy of Othello, the Moor of Venice beginning Sunday, July 17, and continuing through Sunday, August 21. The lecturer for this series is Victor Judge, the assistant dean for academic affairs and lecturer in literature and religion at Vanderbilt University Divinity School.
